Burning Man 2024 Engagement Report
Dear Sky Friends,
This update is a little overdue, but we’ve been taking time to decompress and catch up on life after our adventures at Burning Man. But I’m here to tell you everything went FANTASTIC!
It was truly epic! Out of the fourteen times I’ve been to this event, this year was both the most challenging and the most fulfilling. I can’t tell you how much it meant to see the smiles on everyone’s faces and to share this art with the world. We have a crew of ~35-40 people who got involved in this project, some who are local and some across the country, some who attended Burning Man and some who didn’t. I’m SO thankful to every single one of them for the incredible efforts they contributed to bring this magic to life.
I’m also so thankful to you donors! Seriously, it costs a lot of money to do a project like this and your support enabled us to succeed. It was a gift to me, to our crew, and to the thousands of people who have enjoyed it so far. Most riders throughout the week made an effort to thank us individually with words, hugs, and trinkets because they know what it took for us to share it with them, and so I pass that thanks on to you too.
For those of you interested in more detail, this report shares more about our experience and engagement levels, our trials and tribulations, and tells a few stories.
Sincerely,
Jamie Molaro, together with Ian Reasor & the Skyhorse Crew
